You May Need a Water Pressure Regulator

High water pressure in your home may sound like it’s a ­positive thing. After all, if the water pressure is too low, it makes it harder to clean dishes in the kitchen or take a decent shower. But what you really want in your house is balanced water pressure, around 80 psi (pounds per square inch). If the water pressure is higher than this, you’ll run into trouble with your plumbing leading to expensive repairs.

But there’s a remedy: a water pressure regulator.
